• CWI, First responder for HAZWOPER, OQ are a plus

Job Description / Requirements:

• Inspector must be present at pre-construction kick off meeting. Review contractor safety manual and bid specification book
• OQ from contractor must be collected prior to the start of work
• Existing Kinder Morgan pipeline must be clearly marked and underground utilities
• Proposed relocations must be surveyed for alignment as needed
• Equipment crossing must be identified and elevation shall be verified
• Load calculations for equipment over pipeline must be approved prior too allowing equipment over pipeline
• Potholing is required before right of way grading is allowed
• Environmental sensitive must be staked out prior to start of construction
• All environmental sensitive areas must be clearly fenced off
• Trenching that parallels Kinder Morgan lines must be done to protect existing pipelines from becoming under supportive
• Contractor must not be allowed to work unsupervised at any area of the project
• Pre-job file list must be filled out
• All receiving documents are to be saved in the job file
• X-rays certification and eye certifications must be collected for each job
• Welding certifications must be collected 14” and larger two welders required minimum
• Coating inspection must be performed with a mill thickness gauge
• Take pictures of the project, a weld map is needed, monitor and verify as-built drawings and x-ray reports are completed at end of project.
• Contractor to provide excavation permit, contractor health and safety plan, appreciate welding procedure, water discharge permit as required, hydro testing, CSFM-ID, notify local fire department, test pressure, maximum and minimum, ground temperature, ambient temperature, air needs to settle out, cleaning of pipe, SCC requirements, L O&M 268 – section 3.4
• Pre tie-in required
• Potholing for alignment and elevations
• Follow L O&M 204
• Notify manager of construction prior to potholing
• Exposing Kinder Morgan pipeline
• Assure that a pipe-liner or a line rider is on-site during the excavation for additional locating
• In hard soil conditions that cannot be hand excavated, a variance must be applied for prior to the use of any power equipment
• Damage prevention during excavation, must be reviewed prior to the start of the excavation

Majority of work is based in CA with opportunities in AZ, NM, NV, OR, and WA.
